I just finished reading a news announcement from E-commerce-Guide.com written by Christopher Saunders that President Bush signed to law a temporary ban on Internet taxes. According to the new announcement (you can read the full story here), “The law will add seven years to the life of the moratorium which prohibits state and local governments from taxing Internet access and electronic commerce.” The law extends the ban through November 2014.

Although many businesses have pushed for a permanent ban, the extension certainly seems to have brought relieve to many. []
