AOL has launched a new search interface which integrates search results with other content, like multimedia, stocks, local content, etc. This new interface, called FullView, provides users with more relevant information while they view regular, Google-powered search results.
Unlike many other attempts to add more content to SERPs, AOL FullView interface does not seem to be cluttered or annoying in any way. With that said, I still prefer the clean and simple Google layout.
The right side of FullView results, or modules, come from AOL and its partners but as Chris Sherman reports, the company plans to introduce an open API and let anyone create content for FullView results.
The company has been working hard to redefine itself and find new ways to differentiate its search service from the rest. The FullView interface is a step in the right direction. ![[]](http://www.searchmarketingstandard.com/wp-content/themes/sms/images/entry-end.gif)
