Google Wins MySpace.com Deal

Google and Fox Interactive Media have announced today that they have reached an agreement whereby Google becomes MySpace.com’s exclusive search engine and search ads provider. The span of the contract is reported to be three years and nine months. The deal will cost Google $900 million over three years.

This deal delivers a powerful blow to Yahoo! and leaves other candidates in the dust after a months-long race. More on this development here.
