There has been a lot of talk lately about print publications dying out and the “new media” or citizen media, in this case the blogs, taking over. I had decided to stay away from this conversation but about a week ago I was contacted by Peter Da Vanzo, the editor of the V7N Blog, asking me to answer a few of his questions. As fate would have it, Peter had noticed what he perceived as the relic from the past (aka our magazine) right amount the blogs of the search engine marketing industry.
So after grilling me on the future of our publication, the future of offline publishing in general and, finally, on the split between the old big brand media and new citizen media, Peter has posted the full interview here. It’s a long read but if you have five minutes to kill, check it out.
