While covering the recent Online Marketing Summit, one of our conference correspondents, Grant Crowell, had a chance to talk to Rodney Rumford, CEO and founder of FaceReviews and Gravitational Media. Rodney was speaking at the “Marketing Strategies for Your Brand in Facebook” panel, and Grant discussed the issue of Facebook marketing with him in more detail.

  1. What I liked best about this article is when Rumford said that anyone wishing to market in Facebook needs to first be in the space for awhile. That is so true of any social networking space. When businesses don't do this the result is often like they walked into a happening party and started yelling about their product. Not what they were wanting I'm sure.
