Google announced yesterday its new social service, Google Co-op, which allows users to “contribute expertise and benefit when others do the same”. Any holder of a Google Account can now contribute to the search results.
This will most certainly bring bold new changes to the way websites are optimized. If the search experience can be customized and then shared, how would one optimize his/her website? This runs parallel to the social bookmarks, only this time these are social SERPs. I’m sure very soon we will see promotion of websites through sharing of search results. ![[]](http://www.searchmarketingstandard.com/wp-content/themes/sms/images/entry-end.gif)
