Third Time’s a Charm? Several hundred Pennsylvania and New Jersey residents, who have filed the third click fraud lawsuit against Google, seem to think so.

“Google made a settlement that was ridiculously unfair to publishers, and anyone who was involved should be appalled,” said Samuel Lassoff, attorney for the plaintiffs in the new lawsuit, and himself a publisher who used Google AdSense, referring to the $90 million settlement. “I still think a lot of businesses don’t even know they were defrauded.”

It doesn’t seem likely that this third lawsuit has a chance. Only a couple of hundred people opted-out of the $90 million settlement, and with some of them possibly participating in the Click Defense lawsuit, this does not leave a lot of plaintiffs to go around. []
