Cool post, Andrey!! You beat me to it man!!!
I am really excited about the iPhone and I feel a lot of other phone platforms will be following suite very soon.
This phone literally revolutionizes the mobile search capabilities in America. For years we all have been talking about optimizing for mobile search and it really being pretty lame. However the iPhone is a great start at modernizing our mobile search capabilities.
I predict a huge increase in mobile search marketing very soon.

What the PC marketing world needs to realize is that a whole bunch of people just now became “Apple Users”. Whether or not they’re on a PC, the iPhone is basically in the simplest of terms a Macintosh that you can hold to your ear as well as converse with people over a speakerphone while surfing the web. If your site does not look good on Safari? start fixing it so that your marketing message will come across to those users.
They’re not 5% of the computer market. They are every Tom, Dick, Harry & Jane that can afford the cost of the phone and the related services.
I think it’s a great push for Apple to jump into this market and am glad my former Boss was the one to bring it to fruition.
It will be interesting to see how sites come about as well as apps for the iPhone to allow users to truly explore the web and all that it has to offer.
Now, does anyone know if you can change browsers on the phone? Or is Safari it? Even being the former PIXAR animal that I am and loving Apple the way that I do it’s nice to have some additional functionality built into the window to the web.
