I love LinkedIn for it gives you a lot of exposure & you get to learn and work with a lot of professionals from around the world. i dont understand how linking twitter & linkedIn will help. LinkedIn is a professional networking site while twitter lets you know what the professionals in your niche are upto.

but seriously, which professional is going to sit and read your tweets which come up in Linkedin? I mean all that excitement is totally lost upon me.

  2. Thanks for the comment. For me, it took awhile before the possible professional uses of Twitter became clear and began to be used effectively. There’s still a long way to go and a lot of possibilities, I think. The connection with LinkedIn will probably follow the same path — at first, most professionals could care less about the majority of tweets (after all, unless I’m planning to stop by, why should I really care if a SEO rock star is on his way to Starbucks?), but over time, everyone will realize that they need to change tactics to take advantage of the nuances of the synergy of the two.
