Yesterday’s Landing Page Quality Score update raised keyword costs for many AdWords advertisers. Some have seen their bid costs double or even triple overnight. Barry has more at Search Engine Roundtable.

Andrew Goodman has an excellent post on the issue of Google transparency when it comes to Page Quality Score and another one on the recent Landing Page Quality Score update.

Via Google Blogoscoped, Gmail adds new features, including a slightly redesigned interface.

that Google has transformed itself into an advertising OS. It’s true that Google is doing a pretty good job of integrating every advertising option into AdWords, but I wouldn’t describe it as an OS.
