Good news for those who use Google AdWords for their PPC advertising. Google has come up with a couple of additions to the reporting feature of the free analytics offered by Google to those with AdWords accounts (the AdWords Analysis report and AdWords Keyword Positions). Even better, the time between requesting an “invitation” to access Google Analytics is now down to a few short days, according to this information release from Google. If you haven’t asked for an invite yet, I’d consider doing so.
Keep in mind, however, that if you are investing serious money (whatever that term may mean to you personally) in AdWords, it’s always a good idea to keep an eye on your online stats via your log files and/or another product. Some people like the Google offering and some don’t – that’s not really the point (but I’d like to know how you feel about it if you are already using it). The more information you can get, the better choices you’ll make about what you need to change and how you need to change it to improve your ROI.
