    I’ve been reading LOTS of books about selling with copy lately. Currently I’m finding value in:

    Ogilvy on Advertising
    The Copywriter’s Handbook by Bly
    My Life in Advertising by Claude Hopkins
    Advertising Secrets of the Written Word

    These are mostly “old school” copywriting books and they are MAGNIFICENT for their emphasis on SALES.

    Web marketers lose focus on sales sometimes, curiously enough.

    I like copyblogger too – he’s a masterful copy writer. His roots are clearly in the books I mentioned above.
