If you thought Matt’s videos were funny, take a look at this 1993 CBC broadcast posted by Ken McCarthy. As Ken points out, we’ve really come a long way in a relatively short period of time, when it comes to the Internet.
It seems just yesterday DOS was the operating system of choice and modems were making those wonderful sounds, connecting through the phone lines (God, I hate that sound). Today, we are flying through the Net with the speed of light (literally, thanks to fiber optics) and searching billions of web pages through Google.
So what’s next? Do we need even faster connection? Worldwide unlimited WiFi access? More search results in Google? Ability to ask Google questions instead of using keywords? ![[]](http://www.searchmarketingstandard.com/wp-content/themes/sms/images/entry-end.gif)
